OS: Windows 7 or later; 10 is recommended. (See Note below)

Memory: 512MB. 1GB if using SnapMaps. 4GB+ is recommended.

Disk Space: 250 MB for software. Additional required for data.

Processor: 1 processor. 4 / Quad Core is recommended.  To get optimal performance, use Windows 10 with at least 4 processors and 4GB of memory (using Win 10 with a 4 core CPU will speed up some calculations by 3X or more)

Screen: 1024x768. SnapPlus is best viewed at screen resolutions higher than the minimum, with a DPI setting of "Smaller - 100%" (96 dpi)". The screen resolution is indicated on the lower right corner of the SnapPlus screen. The SnapPlus window is sizable and most SnapPlus pages will adjust to fill the window when you adjust the size to more than the minimum, allowing you to see more data per window. If you have a screen with lower resolution, it will help to maximize the SnapPlus window. If you change the DPI setting or resolution and have subsequently trouble with the SnapPlus user interface, see Windows 10 Display Problems. You can also set the task bar to Auto Hide to help make more screen space:

1.Right click on the task bar.

2.Select Properties.

3.Check Auto-hide the taskbar.

4.Click OK.

5.The taskbar will disappear until you move the mouse to the bottom of the screen.

For SnapMaps: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox browsers. A high-speed Internet connection will produce the best experience. Internet Explorer is not supported.

Note: SnapPlus 18 will not install on Windows Vista. Microsoft discontinued all support for Windows Vista in April 2017.
